Quisiera transmitirles los saludos de nuestro Presidente. También les felicitamos por el Día de la Paz que ustedes están celebrando el día de hoy.
Han sido 5 años muy importantes desde el 2018, y claro que es un gran avance que el Pueblo nicaragüense ha podido proteger su Derecho a la Independencia, de decidir independientemente. Entonces, esperamos que todo ese desarrollo de Nicaragua va a ser basado en las decisiones del Pueblo y no en las intromisiones desde afuera.

Gracias. Nos sentimos contentos y muy honrados que se encuentren aquí en Nicaragua precisamente hoy que estamos conmemorando el Día de la Paz, que no es más que el Día en que logramos darle una derrota más a la agresión imperialista.
Y la Unión Europea, la Comunidad Europea sacó un Pronunciamiento acusándonos de que para estas fechas nosotros habíamos cometido crímenes, es decir, queriendo dictar lecciones. Y a ellos les habíamos aprobado el Plácet al Embajador de la Unión Europea, estaban nombrándolo.
Entonces, cuando sacan esa Declaración, a través del Canciller sacamos una Declaración donde se comunicaba que ellos, que han sido los que mayor daño les han provocado a nuestros Pueblos desde que invadieron todas estas regiones, las colonizaron, las esclavizaron, cometieron genocidios contra los Pueblos Originarios, y siguen cometiendo genocidios contra nuestros Pueblos, que en tales circunstancias nosotros le retirábamos el Plácet al Embajador.
Luego, hoy los Estados Unidos sancionaron a tres Jueces, porque han aplicado la Justicia en contra de los terroristas. Ya tenemos centenares de Compañeros Funcionarios del Estado sancionados, pero a nosotros ya eso no nos provoca ningún temor, ninguna preocupación, a los Compañeros que son sancionados.

Las personas que están bajo sanciones en Rusia piensan que eso es un reconocimiento de sus avances en la protección de los intereses de Rusia.

Comment by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
I would like to convey to you the greetings of our President. We also congratulate you on the Day of Peace that you are celebrating today.
It has been a very important five years since 2018, and of course it is a great advance that Nicaragua’s People have been able to defend their Right to Independence, to decide independently. So, we hope that all Nicaragua’s development will be based on the decisions of the People and not on interference from outside.

Thank you. We are pleased and very honored that you are here in Nicaragua, precisely today when we are commemorating the Day of Peace, which is no less than the Day on which we managed to deal another defeat to imperialist aggression.
And the European Union, the European Community issued a Statement accusing us that over this time we had committed crimes, that is, them wanting to dictate lessons. After we had given them approval of the European Union Ambassador’s Placet , they were to have appointed him.
But, when they put out their Statement, through our Foreign Minister we issued a Declaration communicating that it is they who have been the ones who have caused the greatest damage to our Peoples, ever since they invaded all these regions, colonizing them, enslaving them, committing genocide against the Original Peoples, and who continue to commit genocide against our Peoples, so, in such circumstances, we withdrew the Place extended to the Ambassador.
Now, today the United States has sanctioned three judges, because they applied justice against terrorists. We already have hundreds of fellow funcionaries of the State who have been sanctioned, but that no longer causes fear or concern, to our compañeros who have been sanctioned.

People who have been sanctioned in Russia think this is a recognition of their progress in protecting Russia’s interests.
