Muy buenas tardes… Buenas tardes a las Queridas Hermanas, Mujeres de la Patria… La Patria Bendita. La Patria Amorosa. La Patria Digna y Soberana. La Patria Libre. La Patria de Tod@s !
Hoy Día Internacional de la Mujer, hoy 8 de Marzo, aquí estamos, recordando a todas las Mujeres Heroicas que nos antecedieron en estos Caminos de Conquistas de nuestros Derechos.
Hoy 8 de Marzo recordamos la Valentía y la Nobleza de las Heroínas Revolucionarias, que regaron el Camino, que abonaron el Camino, que dieron Sangre, Sudor y Lágrimas, para que hoy seamos, como somos : Mujeres Libres, Soberanas, Potentes, Mujeres de la Revolución, Mujeres que con nuestra Fuerza hemos contribuido y contribuimos a todas las Victorias.
Hoy 8 de Marzo nuestros Corazones viven esa Historia Gloriosa de Valor Infinito de todas las Mujeres que se atrevieron a luchar, para vencer.
Nuestro Corazón agradecido sabe ver en cada uno de nuestros Triunfos, en cada Derecho conquistado, en cada paso que hemos dado y que damos, en esta Constitución nuestra que reconoce Dignidad y Equidad de Mujer, el Espíritu valeroso, osado, en el mejor sentido del término, de tantas Mujeres del Pueblo, Mujeres de la Evolución.
Al evocar a nuestras Sublimes, Aguerridas, Guerrilleras y Guerreras de Amor, Vida y Verdad, nos sentimos llenas, iluminadas, reconocidas y sabedoras de todo lo que falta y todo lo que seguimos haciendo, y debemos hacer, para que el Sueño de la Equidad se realice en todas las formas indispensables, para el respeto a la Vida, a la Identidad y a la Condición Humana de todas las Mujeres.
Hemos Luchado… Seguimos Luchando… Somos Seres de Soles encendidos… Somos de Vigor, de Historia, de Vitalidad, y de más Historia… Vencemos y Venceremos… Lo sabemos… Nuestras Fortalezas de Mujeres Valientes y Luchadoras, nos afirman que el Horizonte está Adelante, que el Porvenir se construye día a día, y que allí vamos, con Cariño, Esperanza y cuidadoso resguardo de la Paz, en esta Nicaragua de Tod@s, de Unidad para la Prosperidad.
Desde el fondo de mi Corazón, yo abrazo a todas las Mujeres nicaragüenses en este Día nuestro. Todos los días son nuestros, y este Día en particular. Y abrazo la Memoria, la Historia de nuestras Antecesoras.
Cómo no reconocer tanta disposición a la Lucha, tanto Espíritu de Entrega, de Sacrificio, tanto Heroísmo, en aquellos Tiempos duros, cuando el Triunfo de la Revolución parecía remoto, remoto, remoto. Pero además, cuando las Mujeres aún en las filas revolucionarias teníamos dificultades, y así lo narran nuestras Heroínas, Doris, Gladys, tantas Compañeras que admiramos tanto, que queremos tanto, y que nos han dado tanto.
Yo no puedo desconocer que estamos de pie, Firmes, Valerosas, Valiosas, y Adelante, porque venimos de tantas Mujeres, Firmes, Consecuentes, Valiosas, Valerosas, Generosas, y así como de ahí venimos, para allá vamos, en Glorias y Victorias de esta Revolución, que és Evolución, que és Amor, que és Esperanza, que és Luz y que és Futuro.
Un Abrazo a todas las Hermanas y Hermanos, porque esta Revolución y esta Evolución, y este Reconocimiento de la Dignidad de las Mujeres nos cuesta a las Mujeres, y hemos contado con los Varones Revolucionarios; sobre todo hemos contado con nuestro Comandante Daniel, que ha respaldado, y respalda siempre, estas Luchas de nosotras las Mujeres, estas Luchas que representan nuestra Fuerza… Fuerza de Pueblo que Vence !

Good afternoon… Good afternoon to the Beloved Sisters, the Women of this Nation… This Blessed Nation. This Loving Nation. Our Dignified and Sovereign Nation. This Free Nation. This Nation of Us All!
Today International Women’s Day, today March 8th, we are here remembering all the Heroic Women who preceded us along these Paths toward the Conquest of our Rights.
Today March 8th we remember the Courage and Nobility of the Revolutionary Heroines, who watered the Path, who fertilized the Path, who gave their Blood, Sweat and Tears, so that today we are, as we are: Free, Sovereign, Powerful Women, Women of the Revolution, Women who with our Strength have contributed and contribute to all our Victories.
Today, March 8th, our Hearts live that Glorious History of Infinite Courage of all the Women who dared to fight and to overcome.
Our grateful Heart can see in each of our Triumphs, in each conquered Right, in each step we have taken and are taking, in this Constitution of ours that recognizes Dignity and Equality of Women, the courageous, daring Spirit, in the best sense of the term, of so many Women of the People, Women of Evolution.
When we evoke our Sublime, Strenuous, Warriors and Warriors of Love, Life and Truth, we feel realized, enlightened, recognized and aware of all that is still to do and all that we continue to do, and must do, so that the Dream of Equity is realized in all its indispensable forms, out of respect for the Life, Identity and Human Condition of all Women.
We have Fought… We continue to fight… We are Beings of blazing Suns… We are made of Vigor, of History, of Vitality, and yet more History…. We Win and We Will Overcome… We Know… Our Strengths as Brave and Fighting Women, affirming to us that the Horizon lies Ahead, that the Future is being built day by day, and that we are heading there, with Love and Hope, carefully protecting Peace, in this Nicaragua of us All, of Unity for Prosperity.
From the bottom of my Heart, I embrace all Nicaraguan Women on this our Day. Every day is ours, but this Day in particular. And I embrace the Memory, the History of our Foremothers.
No one can fail to recognize so much readiness to fight, so much Spirit of Commitment, of Sacrifice, so much Heroism, in those hard times when the Revolutionary Triumph seemed far away, distant, remote. But also, when we women still experienced difficulties in the revolutionary ranks, and this is what our Heroines, Doris, Gladys, so many compañeras whom we admire so much, whom we love so much, and who have given us so much, tell us.
I for one cannot deny that we are Steadfast, Courageous, Valiant, Bold and Brave, because we come from so many Women, Steadfast, Consistent, Valiant, Brave and Genereous, and just as that is our origin that too is our destiny, in the Glories and Victories of this our Revolution, which is Evolution, which is Love, which is Hope, which is Light and Future.
An Embrace to all our Sisters and Brothers, because this Revolution and this Evolution, and this Recognition of the Dignity of Women takes its toll on us Women, but we have been able to count on our Revolutionary Men; above all we have been able to count on our Comandante Daniel, who has always supported, and always will support, these our Struggles as Women, these Struggles that represent our Strength! The Strength of a People that Overcomes !
