Cuánto Orgullo sentimos nosotr@s de eso que está en el Nervio, en la Sangre, en el Alma del Pueblo nicaragüense, y el Ejército de Nicaragua, como Pueblo Uniformado, vibrando con esos Sentimientos de Dignidad Nacional que son profundos; una Espiritualidad de Decencia, de Integridad, de Justicia, de trabajar por la Justicia.
Y cómo no va a ser justo que los Pueblos tengamos Paz… Y cómo no va a ser justo que los Pueblos avancemos con Tranquilidad, por nuestros Derechos, por el Derecho al Trabajo y a la Prosperidad… Y cómo no va a ser justo que los Pueblos sepamos que somos libres, que nos ha costado tanto nuestra Libertad, que Jamás Volveremos a Ser Esclavos !
Esta tarde, cuando hemos visto en los rostros de esta Representación de los Soldados, de los Oficiales del Ejército de Nicaragua, repito, que nos hace sentir tan orgullosos, esta tarde hemos visto ese Coraje, hemos visto esa Alma, ese Corazón de Pueblo Valiente, de Pueblo Valeroso, de Pueblo de Historia y de Memoria, de Verdades Verdaderas. De Pueblo que reclama No Repetición ! De Pueblo que dice, Vamos Adelante !
Y aquí estamos, trabajando todos los días, luchando todos los días por la Paz, porque sin Paz no hay Prosperidad. Y como Cristianos sabemos que las Familias tienen Derecho a vivir tranquil@s, y mejor, y a trabajar para prosperar, para progresar. Para eso és indispensable la Paz, y aquí estamos tod@s, trabajando por la Paz, defendiendo la Paz, y señalando, porque no podemos olvidar…!
No podemos olvidar a quienes han querido destruir la Patria. No podemos olvidar a quienes han sembrado dolor, sufrimiento entre las Familias nicaragüenses. No podemos olvidar la sangre derramada por la Libertad, la Justicia, la Verdad, y la Alegría de este Pueblo… Jamás vamos a olvidarlo ! Por eso todos los días, cuando sabemos cómo luchamos, y vemos a los detractores de los Valores del Pueblo, del Patriotismo del Pueblo, a los mentecatos, a los profesionales de la mentira como dicen las canciones, cuando los vemos, los oímos, sabemos que ya nadie le pone mente a esas calumnias, a esas mentiras.
Pero sobre todo sabemos, que No Pasarán…! Jamás ! Porque aquí hay un Pueblo dispuesto a avanzar en la Alegría de la Concordia, en los Valores de Familia, de Fé, de Comunidad. Un Pueblo dispuesto a hacer todos los días una Nueva Historia, en un Nuevo Mundo que estamos creando Tod@s Junt@s. Un Mundo diferente, un Mundo que vibra, que lucha por la Paz y el Bien !
Un abrazo a tod@s l@s Compañer@s de nuestro Ejército, a sus Familiares, a sus Madres, a las Familias de l@s Compañer@s que han dado la Vida por la Patria. Y un abrazo a todas las Familias nicaragüenses en estos días de Celebración de la Patria Bendita, Patria Libre, Patria Soberana, Patria que camina en Cristianismo, Socialismo y Solidaridad, al Siempre Más Allá y al Futuro que tod@s queremos. Abrazos, Compañer@s, Gracias.

of the 44th Anniversary of the Nicaraguan Army

How proud we are of what is in the nerves, in the blood, in the soul of Nicaragua’s People, and Nicaragua’s Army, the People in uniform, vibrant with that sense of National Dignity which is profound; a Spirituality of Decency, of Integrity, of Justice, of working for Justice.
And how can it not be fair that the Peoples have peace… And how can it not be fair for the Peoples to move forward in calm, securing our rights, the right to work and to prosper… And how can it not be fair that our Peoples know that we are free, when our Freedom has cost us so much, and that we will never be slaves again!
This afternoon, we have seen in the faces of these representatives of the soldiers, of the officers of the Nicaraguan Army, I repeat, which makes us feel so proud, this afternoon we have seen that Courage, we have seen that Soul, that Heart of a brave People, of a valiant People, of a People with History and Memory, of Genuine Truths. Of a People that demands No Return! Of a People that says, Let’s Go Onward!
And here we are, working every day, fighting every day for Peace, because without Peace there is no Prosperity. And as Christians we know, families have the right to live peacefully, and, better still, to work so as to prosper, to progress. For that, Peace is indispensable, and here all of us are working for Peace, defending Peace, and insisting, because we cannot forget…!
We cannot forget those who have sought to destroy the Nation. We cannot forget those who have sown pain and suffering among Nicaragua’s families. We cannot forget the blood shed for the Freedom, Justice, Truth, and the Happiness of this People… We will never forget it! That’s why every day, when we know how hard we strive, and we see the detractors of the People’s values, of the People’s patriotism, the liars, the professional liars as the songs say, when we see them, we hear them, we know that no one pays mind any more to their slanders, to their lies.
But most of all we know for sure they will not pass…! Never! Because here there is a People ready to advance in the joy of harmony, in the values of Family, Faith, Community. A People willing to make their history new every day, in the New World we are creating All Together. A different World, a vibrant World striving for Peace and Good!
An embrace to all the Compañeras and Compañeros of our Army, to their relatives, to their mothers, to the families of all the Compañeros and Compañeras who have given their lives for the Nation. And an embrace to all Nicaragua’s families in these days of celebration of this Blessed Nation, this Free Nation, this Sovereign Nation, a Nation making its way by means of Christianity, Socialism and Solidarity, to the Always Further On, to the Future all of us want.
