PALABRAS DE LA DELEGACION DE NICARAGUA EN EL CONSEJO DE DERECHOS HUMANOS; DIÁLOGO INTERACTIVO SOBRE LA ACTUALIZACION PERIODICA DEL ALTO COMISIONADO SOBRE NICARAGUA

Excelentísimo Señor Omar Zniber, presidente del consejo de derechos humanos de las Naciones Unidas,
Excelentísimo señor Volker Turk, Alto comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los derechos humanos;
Señoras y señores representantes de los Estados miembros, apreciados representantes de organizaciones internacionales y observadores.
El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de Nicaragua, ya ha dejado sentada su posición respecto a las diversas actualizaciones que sobre nuestro País, se han presentado en este foro. En nuestras intervenciones, hemos afirmado, que no aceptamos que se manipulen estos espacios, para hacer alarde de informes preparados con supuesta objetividad o sensatez, justificando estos, en una evidente nula preocupación para nuestro Estado; cuando en realidad, se busca continuar manipulando estos, con la única finalidad, de intervenir en los asuntos internos de nuestro país.
Estos mecanismos de “actualización oral”, violan el principio de “No Intervención”, que de acuerdo a normas del derecho internacional, son innegociables y ni siquiera, discutibles; por cuanto las decisiones soberanas de una nación, cuya autoridad recae en este caso, en el pueblo nicaragüense; son absolutas, inalienables e imprescriptibles.
Reiteramos que cualquier interferencia en las políticas y decisiones de Nicaragua, representan una maliciosa actuación, de parte de quienes toman como insumos para estas actualizaciones orales, a determinados grupos minoritarios, que son financiados, precisamente para desprestigiar los avances que con nuestro Gobierno, ha obtenido el pueblo soberano de Nicaragua.
Sirva esta intervención, para DENUNCIAR nuevamente, a como ya lo hemos hecho, la falta de integridad y moralidad, de estos mecanismos; que más bien deberían fomentar la práctica del respeto, la tolerancia y la convivencia pacífica de las naciones, garantizando el derecho soberano de los pueblos, para que con dignidad e independencia, continúen labrando su propio destino, en la búsqueda de la paz social, así como del desarrollo económico, cultural y social, que garantice el bien común y los verdaderos derechos humanos que merecemos las familias nicaragüenses.

MESSAGE FROM THE DELEGATION OF NICARAGUA TO THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL; INTERACTIVE DIALOGUE ON THE PERIODIC UPDATE OF THE HIGH COMMISSIONER ON NICARAGUA

Your Excellency Mr. Omar Zniber, President of the United Nations Human Rights Council,
Your Excellency Mr. Volker Turk, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights;
Ladies and Gentlemen Representatives of the Member States, esteemed Representatives of International Organizations and Observers.
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua has already stated its position regarding the various updates on our Country that have been presented to this forum. In our statements, we have affirmed that we do not accept the manipulation of these forums to show off reports that are supposedly prepared with objectivity or reasonableness, justifying these, with an evident zero concern for our State; when in reality, they seek to continue manipulating these, with the sole purpose of intervening in the internal affairs of our Country.
These “oral update” mechanisms violate the Principle of “Non-Intervention”, which according to the norms of International Law, are non-negotiable and not even debatable; because the sovereign decisions of a Nation, whose authority falls in this case on the Nicaraguan people; are absolute, inalienable and imprescriptible.
We reiterate that any interference in the policies and decisions of Nicaragua represents a malicious action from those who take as inputs for these oral updates, certain minority groups, which are financed, precisely to distort the progress that the Sovereign People of Nicaragua has obtained with our Government.
May this intervention serve to DENOUNCE again, as we have already done, the lack of integrity and morality of these mechanisms; that rather they should promote the practice of respect, tolerance and peaceful coexistence between nations, guaranteeing the sovereign right of peoples, so that with dignity and independence, they can continue to build their own destiny, in the search for social peace, as well as economic, cultural and social development, which guarantees the common good and the real human rights that Nicaraguan families deserve.
