Intervención de Nicaragua en el Consejo Permanente de la OEA
INTERVENCIÓN DEL GOBIERNO DE RECONCILIACIÓN Y UNIDAD NACIONAL EN EL CONSEJO PERMANENTE DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DE ESTADOS AMERICANOS

Muchas gracias señor Presidente.
La Delegación de la República de Nicaragua ante este Consejo Permanente RECHAZA de la manera más firme y categórica esta INFAME convocatoria a una nueva Sesión del Consejo Permanente de la OEA para abordar “la situación de Nicaragua”.
Queremos dejar bien claro, que no somos un tema de la agenda ideológica de Washington, no somos un experimento político, no somos patio trasero de nadie, ni somos parte del Ministerio de Colonias, somos la Patria Soberana de Augusto César Sandino y Benjamín Zeledón. Nuestra Soberanía y Validación no provienen de esta Organización agonizante y vergonzosa, sino de la voluntad popular nicaragüense, de una Patria Libre, donde el Pueblo es y será Presidente.
Mientras unos bajan la cabeza y se avergüenzan de sus Principios y Valores Revolucionarios, nosotros defendemos con Dignidad la Patria Libre y Soberana.
Señor Presidente, denunciamos hoy a todos esos Países que impulsan resoluciones y hablan de Derechos Humanos. La peor cárcel del Mundo es Guantánamo, donde hay especialistas estado-unidenses en torturas, yo pregunto cuándo fue la CIDH a Guantánamo, porque no piden una Sesión por las cárceles de niños migrantes humillados y maltratados, o por las masacres indígenas en Canadá que todavía ayer leíamos con espanto el descubrimiento de nuevas fosas comunes. Canadá no tiene moral para hablar de Derechos Humanos. Pero también Chile, cuyos carabineros lisiaron ojos de centenares de jóvenes universitarios y se denuncian violaciones a las jóvenes detenidas. Por un año se escondió ese informe de la visita in loco de la CIDH. Ya no hablemos de Black Lives Matter, donde Antigua y Barbuda se quedó callada cobardemente para no ofender al Imperio. Nunca vimos un tuit por la muerte de George Floyd ni de Rihanna Taylor.
Aquí lo que tenemos hoy es un Ministerio de Colonias, totalmente arrodillado y postrado ante los pies de sus amos. La Agenda de la OEA se dicta desde la Pensilvania Avenue y no desde el Salón Simón Bolívar o el Salón de las Américas.
Señor Presidente, nuestro Pueblo, cuyo único enemigo jurado es la pobreza y la exclusión social, ha sido sancionado, amenazado, chantajeado pero JAMÁS se ha puesto de rodillas ante ningún IMPERIO, porque mientras Nicaragua tenga hijos que la amen Nicaragua será PATRIA Libre.
Estamos convencidos y creemos firmemente que la lucha por los pobres no es una pobre lucha, a como se ha querido injuriar. En nuestra Patria hemos asumido con valentía un Mandato renovado por la Voluntad Libre y Soberana del Pueblo Nicaragüense, que nos llama y motiva a continuar construyendo las Victorias indiscutibles en la Lucha contra la Pobreza; Equidad de Género; Salud y Educación Universales, Gratuitas y de Calidad; Derechos de Pueblos Originarios y Afrodescendientes; Seguridad Ciudadana; Energías renovables, entre tantas otras reivindicaciones que el Pueblo de Nicaragua merece y demanda. Continuaremos trabajando con ahínco y dedicación para atender temas realmente importantes como la Justicia Climática, el Calentamiento Global, la pandemia del Covid-19 y otras endemias que atentan contra nuestro DERECHO AL DESARROLLO INCLUSIVO, NUESTRA LIBERTAD Y NUESTRO BUEN VIVIR.
Nuestra Patria seguirá defendiendo los Principios del Respeto a la Soberanía Nacional, Autodeterminación y No Injerencia Extranjera. Estos Principios no están a la venta, ni son un Derecho exclusivo de las Potencias ni de sus lacayos, son Derechos inalienables de todos los Pueblos.
Señor Presidente, mientras nos vamos de esta OEA en decadencia, al igual que sus amos del Imperio, vemos en la lejanía cómo este Ministerio de Colonias avanza miope y sordomudo ante las injusticias de estas tierras, tropezando con realidades que desea ignorar, ocultando asesinatos, xenofobia, narcotráfico, bloqueos inhumanos e incluso golpes de Estado.

INTERVENTION BY THE GOVERNMENT OF RECONCILIATION AND NATIONAL UNITY AT THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES

Thank you very much, Mr. President.
The Delegation of the Republic of Nicaragua before this Permanent Council REJECTS, in the strongest and most categorical manner, this INFAMOUS call for a new Session of the Permanent Council of the OAS to address “the situation in Nicaragua”.
We want to make it very clear that we are not an issue on Washington’s ideological agenda, we are not a political experiment, we are not anyone’s backyard, nor are we part of its Ministry of Colonies; we are the Sovereign Motherland of Augusto Calderón Sandino and Benjamin Zeledón. Our sovereignty and legitimacy do not come from this dying and shameful Organization, but from the will of the Nicaraguan people, from a Free Motherland, where the People are and will continue to be President.
While some bow their heads and are ashamed of their Revolutionary Principles and Values, we defend our Free and Sovereign Motherland with dignity.
Mr. President, today we denounce all those countries that promote resolutions and speak of human rights. The worst prison in the world is Guantanamo, where there are American experts in torture; I ask, when has the IACHR gone to Guantanamo, because they do not request a session on the prisons were migrant children are humiliated and mistreated, or for the massacred indigenous people in Canada, who still yesterday read with horror the discovery of new mass graves. Canada has no moral to talk about human rights. But also Chile, whose Carabineros blinded hundreds of young university students and were the raping of young detainees has been reported. For a year that IACHR on-site visit report has been hidden. Let’s not talk about Black Lives Matter anymore, where Antigua and Barbuda cowardly kept quiet so as not to offend the empire. We never saw a tweet about the death of George Floyd or Rihanna Taylor.
What we have here today is a Ministry of Colonies, fully kneeling and prostrate at the feet of their masters. The OAS Agenda is dictated from Pennsylvania Avenue and not from the Simón Bolívar Hall or the Hall of the Americas.
Mr. President, our people, whose only sworn enemy is poverty and social exclusion, have been sanctioned, threatened and blackmailed, but they have NEVER knelt before any EMPIRE, because as long as Nicaragua has children who love her, Nicaragua will be a Free MOTHERLAND.
We are convinced and firmly believe that the fight for the poor is not a poor fight, as has been reviled. In our country we have bravely assumed a mandate renewed by the Free and Sovereign Will of the Nicaraguan People, which calls us and motivates us to continue building the indisputable victories in the Fight against Poverty; Gender equality; Universal, Free and Quality Health and Education; Rights of Indigenous and Afro descendant Peoples; Citizen security; Renewable energies, among many other demands that the People of Nicaragua deserve and demand. We will continue to work hard and with dedication, in order to address really important issues such as climate justice, global warming, the Covid-19 pandemic and other endemics that threaten our RIGHT TO INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT, OUR FREEDOM AND OUR WELLBEING.
Our country will continue to defend the Principles of Respect for National Sovereignty, Freedom of Self-determination and Non interference. These principles are not for sale, nor are they an exclusive right of the powers or their lackeys, they are inalienable rights of all Peoples.
Mr. President, as we leave this declining OAS, like its masters of the empire, we see in the distance how this Ministry of Colonies advances myopic and deaf-mute in the face of the injustices of these lands; stumbling over realities that it wishes to ignore, hiding murders, xenophobia, drug trafficking, inhuman blockades and even coups d’état.
