En la especial ocasión de conmemorar el 59º aniversario de su independencia, este próximo 18 de febrero, permítanos transmitirle en nombre del pueblo y Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua y en nuestro propio nombre, nuestras más cálidas felicitaciones a usted, a su gobierno y al hermano pueblo de Gambia.
En esta memorable e histórica fecha de fiesta nacional, nos unimos con ustedes en esta gran celebración que rememora las luchas del pueblo gambiano por su independencia y autodeterminación, reiterando la invariable voluntad del pueblo y gobierno de Nicaragua, de continuar fortaleciendo las relaciones de hermandad, respeto mutuo y solidaridad que unen a nuestros pueblos y gobiernos.
Con el cariño y respeto del pueblo nicaragüense para el hermano pueblo Gambiano.
