PALABRAS DEL ESTADO DE NICARAGUA,
SOBRE RESOLUCIÓN CONTRA NUESTRO PAÍS,
ANTE EL CONSEJO DE DERECHOS HUMANOS
DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DE LAS NACIONES UNIDAS

Excelentísimo señor Federico Villegas, Presidente del Consejo de Derechos Humanos, de la Organización de Naciones Unidas.
El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, ya ha expresado su rechazo absoluto a cada una de las Resoluciones contra nuestro País, ¡que subjetivamente se han presentado en este Foro y que hoy no es la excepción!
Se continúan haciendo valoraciones instrumentalizadas y derivadas de intereses económicos y políticos de los países imperialistas, cuya única finalidad es afectar la dignidad y soberanía de los pueblos; sin ningún respeto a la Identidad, Soberanía y Desarrollo Histórico de cada País.
No aceptamos ninguna Resolución, actualización o reporte sobre los Derechos Humanos en Nicaragua, porque estos carecen de objetividad y están revestidos de un sesgo político e injerencista claramente definido; lejos de basarse en una recopilación veraz sobre la realidad de los Derechos Humanos de los nicaragüenses.
Estos informes solo recogen las voces de algunos sectores minoritarios, definidos bajo el diseño de la política interventora de las grandes Potencias Imperialistas, no siendo tomados en consideración, las valoraciones que nuestro Estado ha presentado; por lo que hacemos un llamado a no centrar, ni basar estas Resoluciones, en campañas mediáticas de desinformación y odio, sino que instamos a que la verdadera defensa, promoción y desarrollo de los Derechos Humanos, que este Organismo Internacional debe impulsar, sea la aplicación de los mismos, en plena armonía con el respeto a la Identidad, Soberanía y Desarrollo Histórico de cada País, sin perder de vista la universalidad de los Derechos Humanos.
Nuestro País avanza con Políticas Públicas dirigidas a proteger la Vida, la Salud y en general, el Bienestar de todo un Pueblo, a pesar del injusto sometimiento a sanciones agresivas e ilegítimas de parte de los Estados Unidos de América del Norte y de la Unión Europea, que buscan legitimar sus actuaciones, mediante Informes y Resoluciones, como los que aquí se presentan de forma reiterativa; como reiterativo es también, dejar consignado en este Foro, que nuestro País nunca ha sido, ni será un peligro, ni mucho menos una amenaza para ningún País del Mundo. Nuestra lucha es por la justicia y la igualdad, misma que nos permite reclamar que estos espacios no sean usados por fuentes lesivas, para aplicar injustas medidas unilaterales, coercitivas e ilegales para Nicaragua, que son las que realmente se constituyen en crímenes de lesa humanidad.
No nos cansaremos de llamar a este Foro, para que asuma sus responsabilidades ante la historia de la Humanidad, reconociendo y respetando el Derecho de los Pueblos del Mundo a tomar sus propias decisiones y a vivir en Paz, con Soberanía, Respeto y Consideración Humana.
Tampoco nos cansaremos de demandar, que este Organismo observe de manera imprescindible, en todas sus actuaciones, el Principio de No Intervención y de un trato igual para todos los Estados partes de este sistema universal de Derechos Humanos.

REMARKS BY THE STATE OF NICARAGUA,
REGARDING THE RESOLUTION AGAINST OUR COUNTRY,
AT THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL
OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS

Excellency Mr. Federico Villegas, President of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations Organization,
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity has already expressed its absolute rejection of each of the Resolutions against our country, which have subjectively been presented before this forum and that today is no exception!
Instrumentalized assessments continue to be made, derived from the economic and political interests of the imperialist countries, whose sole purpose is to affect the dignity and sovereignty of our peoples; without any respect for the identity, sovereignty and historical development of each country.
We do not accept any Resolution, update or report on Human Rights in Nicaragua, because they lack objectivity and conceal a clearly defined political and interventionist bias; far from being based on a truthful compilation of the reality of the Human Rights of all Nicaraguans.
These reports only collect the voices of some minority sectors that are well established under the designs of the interventionist policies of the great imperialist powers, without taking into consideration, the assessments that our State has presented. Therefore, we demand that these Resolutions must not focus or be centered on media campaigns of disinformation and hatred, but rather, we urge the true defense, promotion and development of Human Rights, the exercise of which must be promoted by this international organization, in full harmony with respect for the identity, sovereignty and historical development of each country, without losing sight of the universality of Human Rights.
Our country advances with public policies aimed at protecting the life, health and in general, the wellbeing of an entire People, despite being unfairly subjected to aggressive and illegitimate sanctions by the United States of North America and the European Union, which seek to legitimize their actions, through reports and Resolutions, such as those repeatedly presented here. Our country has also stated repeatedly, within this Forum, that it has never been, nor will ever be a danger and much less a threat, to any country of the world. Our fight is for justice and equality, which allows us to demand that these spaces not be used by harmful sources, to apply unfair unilateral, coercive and illegal measures against Nicaragua, which really constitute crimes against humanity.
We will not tire of calling this forum to assume its responsibilities in the face of the history of humanity, recognizing and respecting the right of the Peoples of the World to make their own decisions and to live in Peace, with Sovereignty, Respect and Human Consideration.
Nor will we tire of demanding that this body observe in an essential manner and in all of its actions, the principles of non-interventionism and equal treatment for all the States that are part of this Universal Human Rights system.
