Queridos hijos, nietos y nietas, bisnietos y bisnietas de Blanca Segovia… ¡Blanquita! Todavía escucho su voz, todavía hace 4 días, cuando recién ingresaba al hospital, escuchamos su voz, hablamos con ella y, a pesar de la situación que era realmente delicada, grave, su voz no titubeaba, y siempre con esa energía.
Yo le decía a Blanquita cada vez que me encontraba con ella, y cada vez que conversaba con ella personalmente, o que hablábamos por teléfono, que escucharla a ella era llenarse de energía, de la energía de nuestro General, y de Blanca Aráuz, de su madre.
Una Mujer con una fortaleza divina y esa fortaleza que viene a darle a los Seres Humanos las capacidades, como decía nuestro General Sandino, de ir Siempre Más Allá… A pesar de los obstáculos, a pesar de los desafíos, Siempre Más Allá ! Esa era, y es, Blanca Segovia, porque a pesar de su desaparición física ella sigue estando presente y nos acompaña, acompaña a su Familia, acompaña al Pueblo nicaragüense y nos acompaña diciendo: Siempre Más Allá !
Hoy es 26 de Diciembre… El 26 de Diciembre del año 1932, en Vida nuestro General Sandino, ya había logrado derrotar a los yanquis invasores, y un día como hoy, en los Estados Unidos, desde Washington, sede del Gobierno del Imperio yanqui, da a conocer que el último marino yanqui que se encontraba en Nicaragua, todavía quedaban marinos yanquis, saldría de Nicaragua el 2 de Enero del año 1933; es decir, ya a pocos días de la salida del último marino, que plasma lo que fue la Victoria del Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional, creado y encabezado por nuestro General Sandino.
Y el enemigo sigue siendo el mismo, cuántos años han pasado, después conspiraron y asesinaron al General Sandino, pero quedó la Fuerza, la Fuerza de los Héroes que a lo largo de la Historia, desde Diriangén a José Dolores Estrada y Andrés Castro, hasta Zeledón y nuestro General Sandino, le inyectaron una fortaleza al Pueblo nicaragüense, que lo ha hecho imbatible el Pueblo nicaragüense, derrotando, derrotando, una tras otra, las agresiones yanqui.
Y en este día en el que estamos en vísperas de que Blanquita retorne a San Rafael, allá en Jinotega, a acompañar a su madre, Blanca Arauz, van a estar en el centro de San Rafael, en el Centro del Pueblo, donde está el Museo, el Centro Cultural Museo, Centro Histórico, y ahí estarán las dos, una al lado de la otra, en el patio, en el centro.
Y, desde ese Sitio Sagrado seguirán ellas inspirando la lucha de nuestro Pueblo, dándole fortaleza y energía a nuestro Pueblo, y dándoles a l@s nicaragüenses el Derecho a defender la Paz, la Estabilidad y la Seguridad, que es el mayor Bien que puede defender un Pueblo.
Querid@s Herman@s nicaragüenses, en nombre de tod@s ustedes, en nombre del Pueblo de Nicaragua, le decimos a Augusto, a Julio, a Walter, les decimos a las nietas de Blanquita, a los nietos de Blanquita, a los bisnietos, les decimos que el Pueblo entero de Nicaragua, las acompaña, los acompaña.
Y que, como bien decía Walter, bueno, cesó de latir el corazón de Blanca, son momentos inevitables en lo que es la Vida… La Vida, ya sabemos, no es más que un tránsito, desde que nacemos ya se sabe que llegamos a un momento en que se pasa a otro Plano de Vida, que hemos conocido como la muerte, pero no es más que un tránsito. Y así como en la venas de nuestro Pueblo, en nuestras venas corre la sangre de nuestros Héroes y Mártires, también seguirá corriendo la sangre de Blanca Segovia Sandino.
Blanca Segovia Sandino, Siempre Presente, siempre acompañando también a nuestro General en estas batallas que el Pueblo nicaragüense seguirá librando, por la Paz, por la Libertad, por la Justicia. Y le decimos a Blanquita : ¿Dónde está Blanquita? ¿Dónde está Blanquita? ¡Está aquí! Está aquí en el Corazón nuestro, de todos los nicaragüenses, de todo el Pueblo, aquí está presente, ¡acompañándonos! Blanquita, Blanquita con tu padre repetimos esa consigna libertaria: ¡Patria Libre o Morir!

Beloved children, grandchildren and granddaughters, great-grandchildren and great-granddaughters of Blanca Segovia… Blanquita! I still hear her voice, still 4 days ago, when she was just admitted to the hospital, we listened to her, we talked to her and, despite her situation which was really delicate, serious, her voice did not hesitate, and always with that energy of hers.
Every time I met Blanquita, every time I talked to her personally, or we talked on the phone, I told her that listening to her was to be filled with energy, the energy of our General Sandino, and of Blanca Aráuz, of her mother.
A woman with divine strength, the strength that comes giving Human Beings the capabilities, as our General Sandino said, to go Always Further On… Despite obstacles, despite challenges, Always Further On! That was, and is, Blanca Segovia, because despite her physical disappearance she is still present and accompanies us, accompanies her Family, accompanies the Nicaraguan People and accompanies us saying: Always Further On!
Today is December 26th… On December 26, 1932, during his lifetime, our General Sandino had already managed to defeat the invading Yankees, and on a day like today, in the United States, from Washington, seat of the Government of the Yankee Empire, they announced that the last Yankee marine in Nicaragua, there were still Yankee marines here then, would leave Nicaragua on January 2, 1933; that is, just a few days afterwards came the departure of the last sailor, which reflects the Victory of the Army In Defense of National Sovereignty, created and led by General Sandino. our General Sandino.

Beloved Nicaraguan Brothers and sisters, on behalf of all of you, on behalf of the People of Nicaragua, we say to Augusto, to Julio, to Walter, we say to Blanquita’s granddaughters, to Blanquita’s grandchildren, to the great-grandchildren, we tell you that the entire People of Nicaragua, accompanies you, it does accompany you. And that, as Walter said well, after all, Blanca’s heart stopped beating, and these are inevitable moments in what Life is… Life, we already know, is nothing more than a transition, from the moment we are born it is well known that we will reach a moment when we move to another Plane of Life, which we may call Death, but is nothing more than a transition. And just as the blood of our Heroes and Martyrs runs in the veins of our People, so will the blood of Blanca Segovia Sandino continue to flow there as well.
Blanca Segovia Sandino, Always Present, always accompanying our General in these battles that the Nicaraguan People will continue to fight, for Peace, for Freedom, for Justice. And we say to Blanquita: Where is Blanquita? Where’s Blanquita? She is here! She is here in our hearts, the hearts of all Nicaraguans, of the entire People, she is present here, accompanying us! Blanquita, Blanquita, with your father we repeat the freedom loving slogan: A Free Nation or Death!
