INTERVENCION DE LA DELEGACIÓN DEL GOBIERNO DE RECONCILIACION Y UNIDAD NACIONAL DE LA REPUBLICA DE NICARAGUA EN LA 51 ASAMBLEA GENERAL DE LA OEA
DIALOGO DE ESTADOS MIEMBROS, SECRETARIO GENERAL, SECRETARIO GENERAL ADJUNTO Y OBSERVADORES PERMANTENTES

Honorables Cancilleres y Jefes de Delegaciones de Países de Nuestra América.
Honorable Presidente de esta 51 Asamblea General de la OEA.
Señor Secretario General y Secretario General Adjunto,
Observadores y Autoridades acreditadas, Nicaragua, tierra de Paz, Solidaridad y Libertad, saluda esta 51 Asamblea General de la OEA, con la convicción de que dedicaremos tiempo y esfuerzo para que nuestros Pueblos y Comunidades, reciban aportes que expresen Desarrollo, Solidaridad, Esfuerzos Comunes, y sobre todo Unidad de Acción de nuestros Gobiernos e Instituciones, y compartamos visiones y tareas que sean de provecho para nuestros Países.
Nicaragua acude a esta sesión, en su demanda permanente de Paz, Respeto y Consideración para el Derecho de sus ciudadanos y ciudadanas, y en el marco de los instrumentos que todos nuestros Estados hemos adoptado como guía-base de nuestros debates, y fundamento de nuestras decisiones. Por ello, y conscientes del Derecho de cada uno de los que integramos esta instancia regional, hacemos un llamado a NO OLVIDAR, NI POR UN INSTANTE, los Valores, Principios y Fundamentos de la propia Carta creadora de la OEA, especialmente aquellos aspectos que Protegen y Defienden los Principios de la Libre Autodeterminación, el Respeto Irrestricto a la Soberanía Nacional y el No Intervención en los Asuntos Internos de los Estados.
En el Desarrollo de la Agenda de Trabajo, nuestro País aportará sus criterios y consideraciones, a partir de la observación respetuosa que cada tema nos obliga a tener. Ciertamente, esta instancia política y de coordinación regional debe contribuir a que las instituciones de cada uno de los Estados, desarrollen, conforme el Marco Legal y Social Propio y Soberano, las tareas y acciones necesarias para la mejor expresión de vida de nuestros Pueblos.
Obviamente, la Globalización comunicacional, la interrelación social, cultural, geográfica y humana y los vínculos históricos entre nuestras naciones, son importantes eslabones que construyen cadenas de amistad, respeto, consideración y unidad entre nuestros Pueblos. Por ello, llamamos a fortalecer esos elementos que nos unen, y ampliar los instrumentos que ayudan y contribuyen a que Nuestramérica, SEA UN ESPACIO DE VIVIR EN ARMONÍA Y RESPETO, DE VIVIR EN PAZ.
Asistimos a esta sesión, alegres y satisfechos, después de ratificar la vocación de Paz que constituye la aspiración más hermosa de nuestro pueblo, días después que nos juntamos en una inmensa mayoría para afirmar nuestro espíritu unitario, para expresar ante nuestros hermanos y hermanas del Continente el Plan de vida que hemos edificado juntos, y que nos depara Progreso, Armonía y Paz para todos.
Avanzamos con un mandato renovado por la Voluntad Libre y Soberana del Pueblo Nicaragüense, que nos compromete a continuar forjando las victorias indiscutibles en la Lucha contra la Pobreza; Equidad de Género; Salud y Educación Universales, Gratuitas y de Calidad; Derechos de Pueblos Originarios y Afrodescendientes; Seguridad Ciudadana; entre tantas otras que el Pueblo de Nicaragua merece y demanda. Continuaremos trabajando con ahínco y con el compromiso irrenunciable de hacer frente a las amenazas del imperialismo, la crisis de la pandemia y la crisis climática que atentan contra nuestro DERECHO AL DESARROLLO, NUESTRA LIBERTAD Y NUESTRO BUEN VIVIR.
Con ese espíritu de fraternidad Latinoamericana y Caribeña, rechazamos categóricamente las amenazas al bienestar, la paz y la prosperidad de la Región del Gran Caribe, tales como la delincuencia y el terrorismo, la esclavitud, todas las formas de tráfico ilegal, la discriminación por cualquier motivo, las políticas y los mecanismos unilaterales y perjudiciales, como el bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero impuesto a Cuba, la Ley Helms Burton, que también afecta negativamente a esa Hermana Nación, la inclusión en la lista de jurisdicciones fiscales no cooperativas y la práctica de la eliminación del riesgo que da lugar a la disminución de las relaciones de reciprocidad bancaria en los países del Gran Caribe.
En estos días, han quedado ratificadas nuestras esperanzas de una vida mejor, de crecimiento nacional, de oportunidades de desarrollo, y sobre todo, de esperanzas. Quizás, los anhelos sean muy altos, pues nuestros compromisos con el pueblo Nicaragüense son iguales en intensidad.
Nuestra delegación, se inscribe con el ánimo del respeto al Derecho de cada Estado de trabajar en el marco de la legalidad e institucionalidad comunes, para cada uno de nuestros ciudadanos y ciudadanas, desde la Decisión Propia y Soberana de nuestros Pueblos.
Por ello, fijamos que los Principios del Respeto a la Soberanía Nacional, Autodeterminación y la Política de No injerencia, no solo mantienen su validez, sino, son condiciones fundamentales y esenciales para la Vida, la Paz, la Seguridad, la Cooperación y la Unidad de TODOS NUESTROS PUEBLOS.

Honorable Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Heads of Delegations of Countries of Our America.
Honorable President of this 51st General Assembly of the OAS.
Mr. Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General,
Observers and Accredited Authorities,
Nicaragua, the land of Peace, Solidarity and Freedom, salutes this 51st General Assembly of the OAS, with the conviction that we will dedicate time and effort so that our Peoples and Communities may receive contributions that express Development, Solidarity, Common Actions, and above all, Unity of Action of our Governments and Institutions, and allow us to share visions and tasks that are of benefit to our Countries.
Nicaragua attends this session, with its permanent demand for Peace, Respect and Consideration for the Rights of its citizens, and within the framework of the instruments that all our States have adopted as the guide-base of our debates, and the foundation of our decisions.
Therefore, and aware of the Rights of each of us, who make up this regional body, we call on you TO NOT FORGET, NOT FOR AN INSTANT, the Values, Principles and Foundations of the OAS Charter itself, especially those aspects that Protect and defend the Principles of Free Self-determination, Unrestricted Respect for National Sovereignty and Non-Interventionism in the Internal Affairs of the States.
In the Development of the Agenda, our Country will contribute its criteria and considerations, based upon the respectful observation that each issue requires. Certainly, this political and regional coordination body must contribute so to that the institutions of each of the States, can develop, in accordance with their Own and Sovereign Legal and Social Framework, the tasks and actions necessary for the best expression of the Life of our Peoples.
Obviously, communicational Globalization, social, cultural, geographical and human interrelation and the historical links between our nations, are important bonds that can build friendship, respect, consideration and unity among our Peoples. For this reason, we call to strengthen those elements that unite us, and to expand the instruments that help and contribute to making OUR AMERICA A SPACE FOR LIVING IN HARMONY AND RESPECT AND FOR LIVING IN PEACE.
We attend this session, with joy and satisfaction, after ratifying the vocation of Peace that constitutes the most beautiful aspiration of our People, only days after we came together in an immense majority, to reaffirm our spirit of unity, to express before our Sisters and Brothers of the Continent, our Plan for Life that we have built together, and that brings us Progress, Harmony and Peace for all.
We advance with a renewed mandate granted by the Free and Sovereign Will of the Nicaraguan People, which commits us to continue forging indisputable victories in the Fight against Poverty; ensuring Gender equality; Universal, Free and Quality Health and Education; the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Peoples of African Descent; Citizen security; among many others, that the people of Nicaragua deserve and demand. We will continue to work tirelessly and with the unwavering commitment to face the threats of imperialism, the crisis of the pandemic and the climate crisis, that threatens our RIGHT TO DEVELOPMENT, OUR FREEDOM AND OUR WELL BEING.
With that spirit of Latin American and Caribbean fraternity, we categorically reject the threats to the Wellbeing, Peace and Prosperity of the Greater Caribbean Region, such as drug trafficking, organized crime and terrorism, slavery, all forms of illegal trafficking in persons, discrimination for any reason, the implementation of unilateral and harmful policies and mechanisms, such as the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba, the Helms Burton Law, which also negatively affects that Sister Nation, the inclusion in the list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions and the practice of the elimination of risk, that gives rise to the reduction of reciprocal banking relations in the countries of the Greater Caribbean.
In these days, our hopes for a better life, for national growth, for development opportunities, and above all, for hope, have been confirmed. Perhaps these aspirations are very high, since our commitments to the Nicaraguan People are equal in intensity.
Our delegation registers its intention to respect the Rights of each State to work within the framework of common legality and institutionality, for each of our citizens, and based upon the Sovereign Decision of our Peoples.
Therefore, we reiterate that the Principles of Respect for National Sovereignty, Self-determination and a Policy of Non-interference, not only remain valid, but are also fundamental and essential conditions for Life, Peace, Security, Cooperation and Unity for ALL OF OUR PEOPLES.
