PALABRAS DE LA DELEGACIÓN DE NICARAGUA

DIÁLOGO INTERACTIVO, SOBRE REPORTE
DEL GRUPO DE EXPERTOS SOBRE NICARAGUA

Excelentísimo Señor Václav Bálek, Presidente del Consejo de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas.
Señoras y Señores Representantes de los Estados Miembros, Representantes de Organizaciones Internacionales y Observadores.
Señores designados unilateralmente como Miembros del Grupo de Expertos sobre Nicaragua.
El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, manifiesta formalmente ante este Foro, que nuestra República no ha aceptado, ni aceptará la designación unilateral, sesgada e impuesta, de parte de este Organismo, a través del “Grupo de Expertos sobre Nicaragua”; para preparar reporte alguno, sobre los Derechos Humanos en nuestro País.
Estamos convencidos, que dicho Grupo no es más que una cortina para aparentar una legalidad inexistente en los reportes que preparan sobre Nicaragua y por lo cual reiteramos, que los insumos en estos, son lineamientos de los sectores y medios de la oposición en nuestro País, que difunden situaciones y hechos subjetivos, desvirtuados y falsos, sobre nuestra realidad; actuando bajo las directrices de potencias imperiales, cuya única finalidad es lesionar nuestra Independencia y Soberanía, así como intervenir en nuestra Nación.
No aceptamos reporte alguno del unilateralmente llamado Grupo de Expertos, por ser subjetivos y contrarios a los intereses supremos de nuestro País, en la búsqueda del Buen Vivir, en toda la dimensión de lo que ello implique.
Somos celosos de los avances que con mucho esfuerzo hemos logrado y no permitiremos que estos reportes malintencionados, continúen descalificando y denigrando a nuestras Autoridades, Instituciones, ni a nuestro Ordenamiento Jurídico.
Las recomendaciones de este Grupo, no reflejan los avances considerables que en materia de los más elementales Derechos Humanos (como la Educación, Salud, Derechos de la Mujer, Energía Eléctrica, combate a la Pobreza Extrema, etc.) se han ejecutado en nuestro País, por lo que; cualquier recomendación que pudieran presentar, es carente de objetividad y hasta coercitiva, con la finalidad de desintegrar nuestra visión de País, en la búsqueda del bienestar de todos los nicaragüenses.
Pese a lo anterior, compartimos que estos reportes no nos desaniman, ni nos amedrentan, sino todo lo contrario; nos fortalecen en nuestra decisión para seguir caminando firmes, en la lucha por alcanzar el máximo nivel de nuestra Democracia política, económica y social.
Somos un País pacífico, decente y decoroso con la Comunidad Internacional, donde solo defendemos el respeto al Derecho Internacional, por lo que pedimos a este Grupo; respeto y trato igualitario.

STATEMENT BY THE DELEGATION
OF NICARAGUA
AT THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL;
INTERACTIVE DIALOGUE ON THE REPORT
OF THE GROUP OF EXPERTS ON NICARAGUA

Excellency Mr. Václav Bálek, President of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Ladies and gentlemen representatives of the Member States, Representatives of International Organizations and Observers.
Ladies and gentlemen unilaterally appointed as members of the Group of Experts on Nicaragua.
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity formally declares before this Forum that our Republic has not accepted, nor will it accept the unilateral, biased and imposed designation by this Organization, of a “Group of Experts on Nicaragua”; to prepare any report on Human Rights in our Country.
We are convinced that this Group is nothing more than a curtain to provide the appearance of a non-existent legality to the reports that are prepared on Nicaragua and regarding which we reiterate, the inputs for these, are scripted by the sectors and media of the opposition in our country, that disseminate subjective, distorted and false situations and information about our reality; following the guidelines of imperial powers, whose sole purpose is to harm our independence and sovereignty, as well as intervene in our Nation.
We do not accept any report from the unilaterally so-called Group of Experts, because they are subjective and contrary to the supreme interests of our Country, in the search for Good Living in every dimension that this implies.
We are jealous of the progress that we have made with a lot of effort and we will not allow these malicious reports to continue disqualifying and denigrating our authorities, institutions, or our legal system.
The recommendations of this Group do not reflect the considerable progress that has been made in our country in terms of the most basic Human Rights (such as education, health, Women’s Rights, electricity, combating extreme poverty, etc.), hence; Any recommendation that they could present is lacking in objectivity and even coercive, with the purpose of disintegrating the vision we have for our Country, in the search for the wellbeing of all Nicaraguans.
Despite the above, we share that these reports do not discourage us, nor do they intimidate us, quite the contrary; they strengthen us in our decision to continue making our way firmly, in the struggle to reach the maximum level of our political, economic and social Democracy.
We are a peaceful, decent and proud country within the international community, where we only defend respect for international law, which is why we request from this Group; respect and equal treatment.
