Palabras de Nicaragua ante la ONU sobre la situación de la paz
PALABRAS DEL GOBIERNO DE RECONCILIACIÓN Y UNIDAD NACIONAL SOBRE LA SITUACIÓN DE LA PAZ
1.Nicaragua reitera su compromiso con el Respeto de la Soberanía, la Integridad Territorial y la Seguridad de todos los Países. Los Estados Miembros debemos cumplir enfáticamente con los Propósitos y Principios de la Carta de la ONU. Esto aplica para todos los Estados Miembros de Naciones Unidas.
2.Urge la desescalada de las tensiones teniendo siempre en cuenta los legítimos intereses de seguridad de todos los Países de esa Región y en particular de la Federación de Rusia y Ucrania, con el objetivo de garantizar la Paz y la Estabilidad a largo plazo en dicha Región y más allá, tal y como lo establecen los Acuerdos de Minsk.
3.Nicaragua considera que las negociaciones entre Rusia y Ucrania son fundamentales para intensificar los esfuerzos diplomáticos y de esa forma garantizar la Seguridad y la Paz, donde la OTAN se ha empeñado en desconocer los Acuerdos que en diferentes momentos fueron asumidos con la Federación Rusa luego de la disolución de la Unión Soviética.
4.Porque queremos la Paz y creemos en la prevención y solución de conflictos por medios pacíficos, rechazamos las medidas unilaterales, tales como sanciones políticas, económicas y de todo tipo, que se están lanzando como bombas de destrucción masiva contra la Federación Rusa por los Estados Unidos y la OTAN, a la par que multiplican el envío de armamento a Ucrania, lo que deja a la vista que los Estados Unidos y la OTAN ya están involucrados en este conflicto que tiene dimensiones globales. Toda esta escalada lo que hace és alimentar la guerra con la dolorosa secuela de muertos, heridos, migraciones masivas de Familias que son víctimas de las Políticas hegemonistas y que ya están provocando graves daños en la Economía Global, siendo los Pueblos del Planeta víctimas de esta crisis que se viene a sumar a la secuela de la crisis en pérdidas de Vidas y daños a la Economía provocada por el virus que ha impuesto una pandemia a todos los Pueblos.
5.Naciones Unidas deben desempeñar un papel constructivo en la resolución de la cuestión de Ucrania y dar prioridad a la Paz, la Estabilidad Regionales, y la Seguridad Universal de todos los Países, y no promover tensiones o acciones que escalen el conflicto.
6.Señor Presidente, este lamentable conflicto y pérdidas de Vida se pudo haber evitado. No tenía por qué suceder. Todo esto es producto del irrespeto y las violaciones a la Carta de Naciones Unidas, producto de políticas injerencistas en los asuntos internos de los Estados, que dieron lugar al Golpe de Estado en Ucrania en el 2014, y los ataques y bombardeos contra la población de Donetsk y Lugansk, provocando la muerte de miles de personas. Este es un hecho que no se puede olvidar.
7.Ya és la hora, és el momento de evitar una hecatombe total, y llamamos a la OTAN, a Naciones Unidas y a la Comunidad Internacional, a alentar, respaldar, con firmeza, el Diálogo y la Negociación para la Paz, entre la Federación Rusa y Ucrania, que son los que tienen la autoridad y la fortaleza para alcanzar la Paz, estable, duradera y segura, en esa Región de nuestro Planeta.
8.Por lo tanto, no és con políticas de doble rasero o estándares que fortaleceremos un Mundo de Paz. És con Unidad, Solidaridad, y Hermandad entre nuestros Pueblos. Con Políticas de Paz y Desarrollo. És con esfuerzos y soluciones diplomáticas que lograremos la Paz y la Seguridad Internacionales repetimos, y no es con políticas de doble rasero.
9.Expresamos nuestras Condolencias a las Familias que en Ucrania han sufrido la pérdida de Seres Queridos, igualmente a las Familias de los Soldados de Ucrania y de la Federación Rusa que han fallecido en el conflicto.

STATEMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT OF RECONCILIATION AND NATIONAL UNITY REGARDING THE SITUATION OF PEACE
- Nicaragua reiterates its commitment toward Respect for Sovereignty, Territorial Integrity and Security for all Countries. The Member States must emphatically comply with the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter. This applies to all United Nations Member States.
- The de-escalation of tensions is urgently needed, always taking into account the legitimate interests of security of all the countries of the Region and in particular of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, with the aim of guaranteeing long-term Peace and Stability in that Region and beyond, as established by the Minsk Accords.
- Nicaragua considers that the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are essential to strengthen diplomatic efforts and thus guarantee Security and Peace; where NATO has insisted on ignoring the Agreements that were assumed at different times, with the Russian Federation, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
- Because we want peace and we believe in the prevention and solution of conflicts through peaceful means, we reject unilateral measures, such as political and economic sanctions of any kind, which are being launched like bombs of mass destruction against the Russian Federation, by the United States and NATO, while also multiplying the shipment of weapons to Ukraine, which evidences that the United States and NATO are already involved in this conflict, that has global dimensions. All this escalation does is feed the war; having as its painful consequences deaths, injuries, mass migrations of Families, who are victims of hegemonist Policies and who are already causing serious damage to the Global Economy, being the Peoples of the Planet the victims of this crisis, that adds to the aftermath of the crisis in loss of life and damage to the economy, caused by the virus that has imposed a pandemic on all peoples.
- The United Nations must play a constructive role in resolving the issue of Ukraine and give priority to Peace, Regional Stability, and the Universal Security of all Countries, and not promote tensions or actions that escalate the conflict.
- Mr. President, this unfortunate conflict and loss of Life could have been avoided. It didn’t have to happen. All of this is a product of disrespect and violations of the Charter of the United Nations, a product of interventionist policies in the internal affairs of the States, which gave rise to the Coup d’état in Ukraine in 2014, and the attacks and bombings against the populations of Donetsk and Lugansk, causing the deaths of thousands of people. This is a fact that cannot be forgotten.
- It is time, it is the moment to avoid a total catastrophe, and we call on NATO, the United Nations and the International Community to firmly encourage and support the Dialogue and the Negotiation for Peace between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, which are the ones with the authority and strength to achieve stable, lasting and sustainable Peace in that Region of our Planet.
- Therefore, it is not with biased policies and double standards that we will strengthen a World of Peace. It is with Unity, Solidarity, and Brotherhood among our Peoples. With Policies of Peace and Development. It is with efforts and diplomatic solutions that we will achieve International Peace and Security, and we repeat, it is not with policies of double standards.
- We express our condolences to the families in Ukraine who have suffered the loss of Loved Ones, also to the Families of the Soldiers of Ukraine and the Russian Federation who have died in the conflict.
