Palabras de Nicaragua en la 50° Sesión del Consejo de Derechos Humanos
PALABRAS DEL ESTADO DE NICARAGUA, EN LA ACTUALIZACIÓN ORAL DEL ALTO COMISIONADO SOBRE NICARAGUA, EN OCASIÓN DE LA 50° SESIÓN DEL CONSEJO DE DERECHOS HUMANOS, DEL 13 DE JUNIO AL 08 DE JULIO DE 2022, EN GINEBRA, SUIZA

Excelentísimo Señor Federico Villegas, Presidente del Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas,
Excelentísima Señora Michelle Bachelet, Alta Comisionada de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos, Señoras y señores representantes de los Estados Miembros, Observadores y Representantes de Organizaciones Internacionales.
En esta ocasión, una vez más; el Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de Nicaragua, levanta la voz vibrante de nuestro Pueblo, para denunciar que la presente actualización, al igual que las anteriores, es una prueba irrebatible, que la Oficina del Alto Comisionado para los Derechos Humanos, continúa actuando de forma totalmente injusta y sin equidad, convirtiendo estas actualizaciones orales, en verdaderos ataques contra nuestro País.
Hemos sido claros y reafirmamos, que NO ACEPTAMOS la Actualización oral que hoy se ha presentado, porque la información vertida aquí, sobre Nicaragua, continúa repitiendo embustes y noticias falsas alejadas de nuestra realidad, representando un total irrespeto y una agresión unilateral contra nuestro pueblo y su Gobierno legítimamente constituido. Por ello, rechazamos enfáticamente esta y todas las actualizaciones que sobre Nicaragua se han hecho, por considerarlas injustas, mediáticas, politizadas y carentes de objetividad; al formar parte de la campaña agresiva liderada por los Estados Unidos, en contra del Estado de Nicaragua.
Son este tipo de Actualizaciones, las que impiden avanzar en pro de la defensa y protección de los derechos humanos a nivel mundial, porque son utilizadas para inmiscuirse en los asuntos internos de los países, pretendiendo difamar ante la Sociedad Internacional, a gobiernos legítimos como el nuestro, que solo aspira al crecimiento y mejora integral de su nación.
Exigimos a este Consejo, que deje de reproducir y acuerpar a los Estados, potencias y Organismos que supuestamente se interesan por proteger los Derechos Humanos; cuando más bien, actúan a conveniencia de sus intereses, manipulando sus supuestas “verdades”, arrogándose una transparencia y objetividad que no la tienen, para transgredir la soberanía de Estados, que como el nuestro, históricamente han sido víctimas de los ataques iracundos del imperio.
Denunciamos aquí y ante el Mundo, las políticas inmorales y parcializadas de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica y de las potencias europeas, que imponen sanciones violentas e irrespetuosas en contra del Pueblo nicaragüense; que siempre lucha por la Paz, la Independencia, Soberanía y el Bienestar de nuestra Nación, haciendo de los Derechos Humanos, una realidad para todos, sin ninguna clase de discriminación.

REMARKS BY THE STATE OF NICARAGUA, AT THE ORAL UPDATE OF THE HIGH COMMISSIONER ON NICARAGUA, ON THE OCCASION OF THE 50TH SESSION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL, FROM 13TH JUNE
TO 8TH JULY, 2022, IN GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
Managua, 16th June, 2022
His Excellency, Mr. Federico Villegas, President of the United Nations Human Rights Council,
Her Excellency, Mrs. Michelle Bachelet, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights,
Ladies and Gentlemen Representatives of the Member States, Observers and Representatives of International Organizations.
On this occasion, once again; the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua, raises the vibrant voice of our People, to denounce that this update, like the previous ones, is irrefutable proof that the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights continues to act in a totally unjust and unfair manner, turning these oral updates into true attacks against our country.
We have been clear and we reaffirm that we DO NOT ACCEPT the oral update that has been presented today, because the information displayed here about Nicaragua, continues to repeat lies and fake news, distant from our reality, representing a totally disrespectful and unilateral aggression against our people and its legitimately constituted Government. Therefore, we emphatically reject this, and all the updates that have been made regarding Nicaragua, considering them to be unfair, media bias, politicized and lacking objectivity; by being part of the aggressive campaign led by the United States, against the State of Nicaragua.
It is this type of Updates, which prevents progress in favor of the defense and protection of human rights worldwide, because they are used to interfere in the internal affairs of countries, aiming to slander legitimate governments like ours, which only aspire to the growth and comprehensive improvement of its nation, before the International Society.
We demand that this Council stop acting like a sounding board in support of States, Powers and Organizations that are supposedly interested in protecting Human Rights; but rather, act at the convenience of their interests, manipulating their supposed “truths”, arrogating a transparency and objectivity that they do not have, to transgress the sovereignty of States, which like ours, have historically been victims of the wrathful attacks of the empire.
We denounce here and before the world, the immoral and biased policies of the United States of America and the European powers, which impose violent and disrespectful sanctions against the Nicaraguan People; that always fights for Peace, Independence, Sovereignty and the Wellbeing of our Nation, making Human Rights a reality for all, without any kind of discrimination.
